Alex Waldroup

Owner and Lead Trainer

Alex has been a Police Officer since 2012 . He began his K9 career in 2016 and handled a dual purpose K9 named Bax until his retirement in July of 2023. He then trained his current partner, K9 Pia, and certified her through the International Police Work Dog Association. Both Alex and K9 Pia are assigned to a narcotics unit and SWAT team. Alex is certified through F.M. K9 as a Police K9 Instructor and Trainer and is in the process of obtaining his trainer’s certification under IPWDA. Alex has experience training pet dogs, detection dogs, protection dogs and a variety of working dogs for SAR, Police and Fire. He has experience in high risk k9 deployments, tactical tracking, SWAT integration, advanced decoy work and has been involved with teaching seminars covering several of those topics throughout various states.

Josiah Peacock

Trainer

Josiah Peacock has been a Police Officer since 2012 and is currently working his second dual purpose K9 named Luca. He began his K9 career in June of 2019 with K9 Dark and the two became nationally certified under NAPWDA. In the fall of 2023, Josiah certified with K9 Luca and also obtained his F.M. K9 certification as a Police K9 Instructor and Trainer. Josiah has experience training dual purpose Police K9s, high risk K9 deployments and is a certified decoy.

Brittany Lloyd

Trainer

Brittany is a certified dog trainer specializing in mobility service dog work, scent detection, tracking, basic and advanced obedience. She also has experience training and decoying for police k9 teams and for protection dogs. Brittany has a APC-SDT certification after attending the Academy of Pet Careers specialized dog training program with her two German Shepard Mixes, Loki and Thor. She has experience as a play yard evaluator, pet care orientation specialist, kennel tech. and with behavior modification. Brittany is also certified in Pet First Aid and CPR.
