Board & Train Programs
Our basic 3 week on leash program is where we achieve loose leash heeling, sit, down, stay, come when called, place command, manners at doors, manners around people, manners around other animals and a kennel or crate command.
What is included: Pick up by one of our trainers anywhere in the St. Louis Region. At the completion of the program you will receive a go home lesson to showcase everything that was taught and how to achieve the same performance from your dog as well as two additional 1 hour private lessons in the following months to ensure you maintain the same level of success.
Disclaimer: We also offer shorter puppy programs, longer programs for dogs seeking advanced off leash obedience and longer programs for dogs with extreme aggression or reactivity.
Day Training Programs
Our day training programs allow you to drop your dog of with us on your way to work and pick them up on your way home. Drop off starts at 6am and pickup must be by 6pm. This program is only Monday through Friday.
During the day your dog will receive 2-3 training sessions with one of our trainers with the potential of training field trips as well. Much like the board and train program, the day training program focus on obedience skills and good manners. After every 10th training you will receive a free private lesson to go over the skills we’ve been teaching in greater detail. During pick up one of our trainer’s will provide you with a progress report of how your dog did that day while here with us.
This program’s scheduling is available in 2 days per week, 3 days per week or 5 days per week.
Private Obedience Lessons
1 hour private lesson with one of our trainers where we teach you how to train your dog and then coach you through it so you’re successful together. These lessons take place on site at our kennel, your residence/work place and out in public to get a full balance of exposure for your pet.
Working Dog Training
Arch City K9 has green (untrained) dogs that showcase the potential to succeed in jobs such as single purpose k9s, dual purpose k9s or search and rescue k9s. We also have the ability to provide you and your department with pretrained single purpose or dual purpose dogs.
Along with providing dogs, we also have certified instructors who routinely teach workshops/seminars throughout the year.
Protection Dog Training
Arch City K9 is dedicated to providing you and your family with a loving companion that can offer security and safety. Rest assured knowing this safety will also extend to your car, in your home/office or around your estate. When you come to us with the idea of wanting a protection dog we will evaluate your needs and what life looks like for you on a day to day basis. Then we will work together to select a dog that compliments your life and brings that extra sense of security to you and your family.
Arch City K9 protection dogs can be chosen as a puppy from our breeding program, chosen as an adolescent from our working dog program or we can obtain the perfect dog for you from an outside kennel anywhere across the county or by importing from kennels in Europe.
